Inspiration Point

Inspiration Point in Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois. Limestone bluffs stand 150 feet above the marshy wetlands of Illinois. This is a well named spot.

    Wow!
    This seriously takes my breath away. It's the kind of place I'd like to slowly walk through, from tip to bottom, north to south and east to west,, with a lover. There's so much inspiration for stories and poems. Thank you for this.

      Thanks Tristan. I love Inspiration Point. It's awe-inspiring, almost to an overwhelming degree. The view is so vast and the surrounding area so lush and alive. Glad you like the pics. :D
