Getting Fairest Apple in the signature outfit...
I kept today's post short, sweet, and to the point. Really the pictures do all the talking for me. Thanks for looking!

Signature in Scaris
It's no secret that I love me some Apple White. I've said a few times now that I feel in many ways she's quite possibly the perfect doll. She has the poseability of an MH doll, but her clean faceup, curly blond hair, and creamy complexion mean she's not so heavily themed that she's limited in what she can wear. She looks "normal", albeit in a very beautiful way. To illustrate this I came up with a plan to shoot Apple in three different MH outfits, all vastly different from one another. She looks great in all three outfits, not "off-theme" or anything the way some MH dolls look when you try to put them in another character's outfits. The thing is, Apple is so photogenic that once I put her in the first outfit and started snapping pics, I couldn't stop until my camera battery up and died. I always get so wrapped up in photographing her because she's so damn photogenic. I love taking pics of her! Sorry if that sounds creepy or something, but it's the truth. I genuinely adore Apple's signature doll. Later this year I'll be compiling my Top Ten 2013 MH dolls, and let me tell you right now, no fronting, I like signature Apple better than any of them. Does that mean I like EAH more than MH? No. I simply like this particular doll better than any 2013 MH doll. And even then it really doesn't have anything to do with the character of Apple White (though I do love her, as well), it just comes down to the appreciation I feel for this doll. She's the best playline doll of 2013 that I've personally come across -- and I come across a lot of dolls! Anyway, enough of me rambling! Here's Apple White in Scaris Frankie's chic, 40's-inspired outfit. I'm sure I'll get around to snapping her in the other two outfits eventually. Enjoy!

Les princesses in der kleidung of monsters!
I thought it'd be fun to see how our favorite postmodern princesses look when they don les modes les plus chaude of our favorite fierce monsters. Take a look...
I was hoping to shoot the ladies in these clothes outdoors today but got busy and ran out of daylight. I might take them outside in the outfits tomorrow. Then again, I really need to get started on the next review. We'll see what happens. Thanks for looking!
Ooh la la!
La plus belle de la terre!
With her blonde curls, sidepart, and big, watery eyes, it's easy to imagine Apple
as the human version of Lagoona in this dress.
Pomme
There is a jacket. Like no jacket on Earth. A jacket full of wonder, mystery, and danger!
Some say to wear it, you need to be as mad as a hatter...
... which luckily I am!
Ketten so hart wie leder.
Abschaffung der magische spiegel.
Zaubern sie mein eigenes schicksal!
I don't know what the hell those chicks are sayin'!
Anyway, does this boombox work with this outfit?
The best thing about borrowing Ula's picture day outfit for this shoot?
I actually show up in the pictures!

The Ravishing Theo!
Although she's not perfect (I wish her knees bent and her hair was rooted just a tad more thickly), the TollyTots Theodora doll (of Oz the Great and Powerful fame), has totally won me over! Her intriguing faceup and odd articulation give her personality plus! I'm finding myself very charmed by her. At the end of the day you really can't ask for much more than that in a doll. For a few of these pics she ditched her jacket for Little Dead Riding Wolf's cape; I think she pulls the look off beautifully!
Music today has been a lot of 90s pop-house. Go back in time with me on this one...
